Turkey arrived late on Christmas Eve just as we were getting ready to go home. He had been spotted earlier that day on the streets of Ballinasloe and was then picked up later the same day by a kind lady, this time with wounds to his legs. Thankfully, they were not serious and Turkey made it through our gates in time for a visit from “Santa Paws” and a “Turkey Dinner” the next day!!
He was a fabulous, happy, loving little chap who soon won the hearts of all at Heathlawn, with his cheeky attitude. In true Staffie style he loved everyone he met and was always happy when he was getting some one on one time with lots of cuddles.
Paraic and Heather sent in an application and as we read it, it was our delightful boy Turkey who sprang to mind as their match! That was a few weeks ago now (we did say we were behind with our posts) and we hear that Turkey has settled into home life in true Turkey style !!
He gets to oversee Dad work from home and takes that role very seriously. He loves his toys and chilling but most of all he loves his weekend adventures with his two favourite people in the whole world, Mum and Dad
Thank you Paraic and Heather for giving Turkey, now Tony, his very own home and family
