Home for Christmas.

Pyke arrived into our care a couple of months ago after he was surrendered by his new owner. At 3 years old Pyke had already been in two homes that we knew of and we felt it was time for this little man to find the “perfect home” to suit HIS needs.

A fun and loyal little boy, but at times timid, Pyke went to stay with his Aunty Helen and her gang so we could get a better idea of his character and requirements. Pyke had quite a few home offers and after chatting to a few, one stood out to us. We felt they ticked all the boxes, had lots of experience with animals and were, most definitely, a family that loved dogs involving them in their daily lives. The Keating family, along with their 9 year old lab girl Pebbles, arrived for an “interview” with Pyke and not long after Pyke was happily sitting on Orla’s knee, ready to start his new life in Co Tipperary ?

We hear that Pyke has settled in very well and is enjoying his home comforts and new adventures. As always we are extremely grateful to the wonderful families who choose to adopt a rescue dog.

Merry Christmas Pyke, Pebbles and the Keating family ?
