For Dave Edward’s, a staunch Liverpudlian and LFC supporter, there has been much cause for celebration over the last couple of weeks but this was the icing on the cake.
Dave, Edel and their children had been looking to adopt a family dog for quite some time now and when they rang us asking about Lama, they were once again disappointed to hear they had missed out. After a chat with Dave about the family’s routine, lifestyle and home life, we suggested they might like to come and meet our Mella. But only on one condition, he left his Liverpool jersey at home ? (Man Utd here?)
Dave, Edel and kids arrived and as soon as Mella came out to meet them it was love at first sight all round. Having already had a home check completed, Mella was soon sitting comfortably in the back of their car, ready to wave her goodbyes.
We hear that Mella has settled in as though she has always been part of their family, already out exploring the canal walks and playing football and fetch to her hearts content. And believe it or not Mella has her own Liverpool jersey ???
Dave, Edel and family, thank you so much for being the kind and caring people you are, your joy at having found your forever dog was so heartwarming to see.
Mella you are assured of a wonderful life filled with fun and laughter and many cuddles. ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ again ❤
