Late in 2019 Judo and his brother Karate were found dumped on bog land outside Ballinasloe.
Just two in a very long line of abandoned and mistreated Lurchers.
Thankfully 2019 has become a little kinder to this amazing, gentle and loving breed as we see more people becoming aware of how great pets they make.
Karate was lucky enough to be adopted by a lovely couple local to our sanctuary and in the same day Judo went into foster with Zoe and her family. And the best news is Judo will now be starting 2020 not as a “foster dog “ but a “forever dog” as Zoe and her family have fallen in love with him.
We are thrilled to know that there will now be two more Lurchers out there growing up safe and loved by their families and promoting Lurchers as wonderful family pets.
Thanks to Zoe and her beautiful family for giving Judo, now known as Percy, his chance at happiness.
