Syrian Hamsters

We have a number of Syrian Hamsters in our care that are looking forever homes. Like all our animals, we home to the most suitable families that are committed to providing an environment in which they can thrive.

Syrians hamsters are most active in the evening and into the night so they need families that are prepared to spend time with them while they are awake and active. As they are active they need space to move around and the majority of pet shop supplied cages are not sufficient. Adopters must have a suitable cage or enclosure measuring a minimum of 2ft x 2ft, but larger is always better.

Syrians are easy to tame and enjoy spending time with their people, but children must be supervised. The average lifespan of a Syrian hamster is 3 years, though they can live longer.

If you would like to offer a home to one of our hamsters, please complete an online adoption application form.
