Spinelli, our 13month old Saluki girl, is only small in stature, as Salukis go. She was found on the streets alone and scared and it took her a few days to realise that she was now safe. She emerged as just the sweetest, playful, kindest little girl and soon learned that her days were now for running, playing and getting lots of cuddles.
Spinelli gets on with dogs of all shapes and sizes and is delighted if they want to have a good run around and a play with her. As Spinelli is still quite puppyish her play can be a little exuberant but it is always with good grace and nature. She loves being around people so she is looking for a home where there is someone at home most of the day. A fully secure garden is required as it is for all our rehomed dogs. In true saluki style, Spinelli believes in home comforts such as sofas and lots of good snuggles.
Spinelli walks well on a lead/harness but requires some help with her toilet training, which is usually quick to teach. She can be homed with respectful children. Sighthounds (greyhounds, lurcher, salukis) make the most amazing family pets. Their gentle and loving nature mixed with their happy, fun and cheeky side, make them even more perfect. Spinelli is spayed, vaccinated and chipped.
