What a journey our sweet boy Pagoda has been on. When he arrived he was at deaths door but he rallied through and fought courageously against the toxic infection that had taken hold of his body and then he went through a front leg amputation.

But all of that is now firmly behind him and Pagoda has taken to life on three legs with ease and a smile on his face. Best of all, during his journey, Pagoda has learned to love people 😍

So here he is…..ready to say goodbye to us all, his best friends and carers, who have seen him through his ordeal as he starts his search for his Forever Home. We are hoping that, unlike so many of his breed, Pagoda will not have to rely on export to another country to find his sofa and humans.

So what does Pagoda need?

We feel Pagoda would be best as an only dog as his ordeal has left him a little wary at times of dogs in his space and though he is well behaved, when lead walking amongst the other hounds in his kennel block, he tends to ignore them. As Pagoda loves attention, cuddles and human company, he is looking for a home where he can have his human around for most of the day. He absolutely loves the car, so would enjoy accompanying his family on trips and outings. He loves the sofa, so a home who won’t mind sharing their space for some telly watching and cuddles. Pagoda needs a cat free home.

Having only three legs is not an issue for Pagoda, when it comes to getting out and about and, he loves his free running around our fields. He also enjoys lead walks as he builds up muscle and strength with each week that passes.

He is house trained and generally quite happy just to laze around Pagoda will be an amazing addition to one lucky person/family. He has so much love to give and just wants the same in return. A fully secure garden is a must.
