We feel that the time has now come for our beautiful girl Hoshi to begin her search for a forever home. This very special girl has overcome so much to be where she is now. She arrived emaciated, traumatised, mange-ridden and untrusting but she found the courage to believe in us when we told her that life would get better.

This gentle, somewhat shy girl of approx 2/3 yrs old will, we believe, prosper within a home environment. Ideally, we would love for Hoshi to find a home with another kind, playful, confident dog but we will. of course. consider a home where she would be an only dog too, as long as there is someone at home for most of the day. Whilst Hoshi is still a little shy around people she does love a gentle cuddle and fuss. Out playing with her ‘houndie friends’ Hoshi is confident, full of fun and loves nothing more than a good chase and play.

She will need time to adjust and get used to being in a home but she is such a soft natured girl around humans all it will take is patience, gentleness and lots of love. Hoshi went to our dog show recently and we weren’t quite sure how she would cope, but we were delighted when she took it in all her stride and had a lovely day watching all the activities.

Hoshi walks well on a harness, is practically clean in her kennel overnight, so housetraining should be easy enough. Hoshi just needs a chance. A chance to settle and learn about the world, whilst feeling safe and loved within the home. A quieter environment right now would be best while Hoshi learns.
