Folly

Folly is a small 18 month old Bischon x Maltese girl who is desperate to find herself her perfect home. Folly is in foster in a busy town area and her foster mum feels a more rural setting may be best for Folly as she can be a little barky when seeing new dogs and people (she doesn’t show any aggression in her barking) or she needs someone willing to put the work into her. She led quite the sheltered life before being surrendered on New Years Eve, so it’s totally understandable that lots of things are new to her.

Folly is just the sweetest girl but does need a few minutes before she warms to people and once she does she is the most affectionate little girl who loves her lap cuddles and belly rubs. She may be small, white and fluffy but she has a zest for adventure and life so active, outdoorsy humans would suit her. She loves the car, walks and sunbathing in the garden.

Folly could be an only dog as long as she has humans around most of the day or she could live with another playful dog who won’t mind Folly being the boss!!😁 She needs a home where she can be a much loved member of the family, joining in with their activities.

As Folly hasn’t lived with small children we are looking for a home without younger children. A fully secure garden is a must, as it is with all our dogs, and it goes without saying Folly must live indoors always.

Little Folly is a 17 month old Maltese/Bischon girl who went into foster with a view to adopt. Unfortunately, the resident dog is not coping with having Folly in his home so we are now searching for a forever home for her.

Folly/Molly is the sweetest most affectionate girl who would happily spend her days curled up on your lap or on a chair. She loves to get out on her walks too and is great on the lead and in the car. She also loves to play with her toys, sunbathe and potter around the garden. Her toilet training is on going but with a little bit of time it will come.

Folly can be a little vocal when first meeting new people but after a few minutes she is happy to be your friend. She gets on with other dogs but again can be a little vocal when meeting them on her walk but has improved since being in foster.

Her foster mum says she is a bright, funny, loving and warm little girl who now needs some stability in her life. Folly would love a home where there is someone home all day and would be suited best to a home with teenagers up. Folly can also live with cats.

Folly was surrendered to us when her elderly owner could no longer give her the care she needs. She is a old Bischon/Maltese x. She really is the sweetest, joyous, most affectionate little girl but it does take a little while to win her over at that first meeting. She has lived somewhat of a solitary life so she hasn’t been exposed to many people which can lead her to bark at strangers in that initial greet. But, once she bonds she is a very sweet girl who loves human company

Folly is looking for a home where there is someone at home all day. She has met and played well with a couple of our other residents so another dog in the home could be helpful for her. She loves to run and play and is a bit of a tomboy at heart. Folly has not previously lived with young children so we are looking for a child free or teenage upwards home.

Folly can get very vocal at comings and goings at first so a quieter home without too many comings and goings. She walks well on the lead, travels in the car and can be clean overnight. It has been an unsettling few days for Folly so we are really hopeful that she can find herself a new home quickly. Please note that she will need regular grooming. Folly is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
