This delightful little chap has had no offers of a forever home but we are determined to keep trying until he does. As you can see from his video Corbett is a friendly, happy little boy who loves people and cuddles.

Corbett also loves his walks, he walks well on a lead, is clean in his kennel and always has a happy, waggy tail. A middle aged gent who has lots of mileage left in those little legs and is a super chilled boy who will be your best friend straight away.

We can do this Corbett!!

Corbett, and his buddy Barker, were spotted straying on a rural laneway back last month. The lady who spotted them spent nearly 3 weeks trying to befriend them. She left her shed door open so that they would have some form of shelter and left out food daily. As time passed the two boys grew braver and began to trust her.

We were full beyond even our fullest capacity at the time but we kept in constant touch with Christine on the boys progress. Unfortunately one Saturday morning, Barker was seen being hit by a car and a frantic call from Christine at 8am sprang us all into action as we rushed to bring Barker (and Corbett) to our vets. Thankfully he suffered no serious injuries but now we had little choice but to bring the boys back to our overcrowded sanctuary. They went into Pacos Den which is a place we try desperately not to use as a “kennel space” but we had no kennel space and they remain living in Pacos Den, even now.

They are now ready to find their forever homes and we feel that they would benefit more if homed separately.

Corbett is approximately 9/10 years old and definitely the more outgoing and cheekier of the two. He loves to be stuck in whatever is going on. He loves his walks and spending time with humans, especially if they can be cajoled into giving him lots of tummy rubs. We feel that Corbett could live happily with respectful children.

Both these older gents deserve loving homes. They have progressed from scared strays living alone on fields to learning to trust and enjoy human company.
