At just 15 weeks old, little Birdie is super excited as she is now ready to start looking for her forever family.

She was found at Pearse Stadium, in Salthill, all alone in a box. She was so lucky that a passerby made that very important call for help.

Birdie was only 3 weeks old and unable to eat regular cat food, so she was rushed to one of our bottle feeders to be warmed up before small amounts of milk was given.

Even with a full belly Birdie was extremely stressed, constantly crying and never really settled, a gamble had to taken.

It is very risky introducing a kitten into a different litter but her foster Mom felt there was no option, as she feared Birdie would not survive much longer.

So that’s when two other little bottle babies Bear and Bindi became her big brothers and took their new sister under their paw. And what a difference it made!!

The trio then became inseparable and the boys showed Birdie all was well, teaching her to trust her human Mom.

Birdie has thrived and grown up to be a fun, confident and lovable little girl. She is the first to greet her foster family in the morning, full of love and, of course, kisses.

She has been in a very active home with children, dogs and other cats and loves to be apart of the hustle and bustle.
