CoVid 19 – Kennel Closure to the Public

24th Mar 2020

In order to maintain the safety of our staff we must completely shut our kennels from this evening Tuesday March 24th. Unfortunately, that means that no dogs will be taken in and no dogs will be adopted or fostered until further notice.

Dogs that were booked to go on transport to the UK, Italy and Sweden remain in our care and, even with the recent adoptions and fosters, our kennels fill up fast to the point that we are completely full.

Our staff and volunteer numbers must remain low but our animals continue to be cared for and that can only happen if the remaining team stays healthy.

Emergencies will be assessed on a case by case basis.

Anyone scheduled to view dogs should contact Emma on 087 276 5690 to reschedule their appointments.

This is new for everyone and how things will proceed will be reviewed regularly, in line with any government guidelines, but we will do our best to keep you as up to date as possible across social media.

Adoption Applications can be made via the usual ways but with the understanding that they will not be happening in the immediate future.

We cannot take foster applications.

We can offer advice.

We can only do our best.

But we can only do any of this with your continued support and understanding.
